Martin Opens Chevy Dealership in Arkansas
Mark Martin Chevrolet to serve as authorized Corvette Dealer
MELBOURNE, Ark. - Veteran NASCAR driver Mark Martin announced that he has opened a Chevrolet dealership in Melbourne, Ark. The dealership is located approximately 30 minutes from Martin’s hometown of Batesville, Ark., where Mark Martin Ford Mercury and his museum are located.
“We are real excited about Mark Martin Chevrolet,” said Martin. “I know that I’ve had a lot of fun driving Chevys this year in the Nextel Cup Series, and we are really excited about partnering up with Chevy for a dealership.
“We are an authorized Corvette dealer and we are currently in the process of remodeling the facility. The dealership is located close to my hometown of Batesville and we are very excited about what we have going on.
“My partner and good friend Lance Landers will oversee the day-to-day operations at each facility. Nobody knows the dealership business better than Lance and it should be really cool to see how it is able to grow under his direction.”
The dealership, formally Tate Lawrence Chevrolet, has approximately 250 units in stock and is located at Hwy. 69 and 9 in Melbourne.
