In his first 12 races of the season he was 2nd in points and was racing very well. Since then he has had 1 top ten and hasnt won a race and going into yesterday's race he was 7th in points. So he has had a bad string of races here lately but I dont see him keeping this up for too long.

How many times in his 5 or 6 years in NASCAR has JJ been a competitor for the championship early on only to lag behind in the second half of the season when it really counts. Last year his luck turned around but it seems to have comeback again. Also, there were a lot of crashes yesterday, but the thing that got me was the competition caution on lap 15. I hate those, it just seems like NASCAR is trying to keep the field bunched up.
