New Here! Need help choosing a new driver - 2007/07/20 12:14 Hey everbody, I'm new in here. Can't exactly remember how I found this site but oh well. I'm a huge Marlin fan, always have been, always will be. Not that he has no ride and isn't going to be racing full time next year either, I need some help choosing a new driver to root for. I'm not hating or anything but, no HMS or DEI.

As a matter of fact I have more t-shirts with coors light (marlin) than I do others lol. Then the first time I saw Denny Hamlin race I became a huge Denny fan, I like his driving and his spunk and I knew Sterling wouldn't be around much longer. So hence I go wild for Hamlin but still cheer on Sterling as well. I think the only choice would be Gibbs...Goooooooooo Denny

Re:New Here! Need help choosing a new driver - 2007/07/21 12:26 Marlin was not a bad driver. He just got a lot of bad rap when people blamed him for killing Sr. And that was not the case. I never had a problem with Marlin and I rooted for him and Sr. But if I had a choice it would be between Casey Mears and Denny Hamlin. They both are good young drivers and they are proving it.

Re:New Here! Need help choosing a new driver - 2007/07/28 06:59 Just an update.... Thanks again to everybody that has helped me with giving me suggestions with picking a new driver. I have finally come to a conclusion though. Seeing that I can never root for a single driver like I rooted on and backed Marlin, I will have 2 drivers. My first choice is Denny Hamlin. A very talented driver who one day will win a championship(hopefully this year). All though I will be sporting the #11 gear, I can't help but to root for Kurt Busch. Though he's not well liked I have to give him props on his great driving ability whether it be a ford, dodge or whatever he drives. Thanks again for everybodys help and GO #11
