Didn't take long - 2008/03/05 03:30 Didn't take long for Hornish to drop out of the top 35.Wonder when Penske will wake up and realize Sam will not make it in Nascar.

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/03/05 08:24 I wouldn't talk to soon Moonpie. He's still getting his feet wet in NASCAR. Juan Pablo Montoya went through it too and he had a win last year. In a manor of speaking, he's got to learn to swim.New series, new car, it will come to him.

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/03/05 11:38 Yea, moonpie you are jumpinbg to conclusion too quick.. We are only 3 races in and in IMO he will be fine.

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/03/07 09:45 So yeah, last year JPM did a piss poor job at Daytona, Cali, and Vegas and finished in the top 10 in the ATL(gangsta for Atlanta, I guess...lol) Atlanta is a rookie friendly track where anyone can win. even if he finishes 42nd I'm gonna say i told you so becuase it wouldn't be a 43rd place finish like you said Moonpie

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/03/07 10:10 I just have this feeling that HMS is do for a win. Jr had a chance last week. HMS has been sleeping and I think its time that they come out of hibernation.

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/03/07 18:14 How did this go from Hornish having a bad finish to HMS winning the race.Flooper you do know HMS doesn't mean Hornish MotorSports right.

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/03/08 04:21 If u think you can count the open wheelers out, you are more stupid than you think.

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/03/08 05:16 I'm not counting out all the open wheelers, just Hornish. It took him only 2 races to drop out of the top 35 after what finishing 7th at Daytona.

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/03/10 00:58 I wouldn't call my friend stupid tillman. Of course you can't count out the open wheelers but you can't really count them in either.

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/03/11 06:07 There's a lot of drivers not in the top 35 though.

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/04/02 06:49 36th is better than 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, and 43. Last I checked thats how many drivers raced on Sundays. Anyways, that rule is possibly the dumbest thing Brian france and his staff of NASCAR retarded cronies have ever thought of. I personally think that the season would be much more interesting if it didn't exsist.

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/04/02 08:28 It would be. I want to know gdawg, If you were to change it how would you and what would the new rule be??

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/04/03 08:50 Wouldn't that be obvious? Back to the old system. Either you're one of the 43 fastest cars or you're not. If you can't qualify at least 43rd, then you pack up and go home. And in years past look at what can happen. Because it would put a huge emphasis on performance the drive would be wheeling that care harder than ever. Also, we've seen drivers in the top 5 qualify because thats where they were at. It didn't matter that a team with less funding was better than them that race. It's kinda bull crap.

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/04/04 00:23 the problem is we are not on the old system and your boy Hornish isn't going to make it this year.It would be alot easier if you just admit it.I was right hahahahahaha

Re:Didn't take long - 2008/04/04 06:47 Im not going to say that "yet"!!!! But I think going back to that system would be the best. Let the drivers fight for spots. Now you just have drivers qualifying to see what spot they will be at. Put everyone at a level playing field and let them fight for the 43 spots.
