Click here to see the profile of this user 		logano gets the win in only 3 starts - 2008/06/16 00:28 very nice run by joey logano , this kid is proving that he is the real deal , good to see him win a race just only after 3 starts and plus he takes away casey atwoods record for being the youngest to win in the nationwide series, this kid is getting better and better all the time , cup guys better be lookin out because in a couple of years this kid will be right there with them and probably whooping their butts a few times, so yeah he is definitely another driver i will be rooting for, later all

Like you mentioned johnsonfan48, Casey Atwood was supposed to be pretty legit because of him winning at such a young age and flopped in the next level. I would say a lot depends on his first time out with those big boys. Will he run well? Is he given good enough equipment to run up front? and so on.

Click here to see the profile of this user 		Re:logano gets the win in only 3 starts - 2008/06/22 17:02 your right gdawg , casey atwood did flop and in a big way, i keep hearing them goofy reporters on tv say that gibbs wants to put logano in a cup race or so this year , granted he may run well and he may not , not every rookie outta the nationwide series is gonna be instant succes in cup just as soon as they switch series, a lot of the success depends on talent, a good pit crew and of course good equipment, and gibbs seems to have all of these, so i think his transition will be good, but first keep him in the nationwide series for 09 and let him keep learning the ropes there and especially since they will be using the COT format there so that way he will have a much better chance to learn all about that car, because as we all know the old car and the COT are definitely not the same, i've watched this season go by and i've seen some of the top tier teams struggle with this car and i'd hate to see logano come in and do badly in a car he is not familiar with at all , but aside from all that the kid has a bright future ahead of him and i wish him nothing but the best and he did good the other night bringing home a 2nd place finish, later all
